Nestled in a charming nook, Hostal El Descanso proved to be a gem during our family retreat in Madrid. Being an interior designer, my eye for aesthetics was immediately drawn to the sleek yet cozy ambiance. With a child under 7 years old in tow, we were pleasantly surprised by the inclusive atmosphere and family-friendly amenities this hotel had to offer.Upon our arrival, the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for our stay. The accommodating host, whose name eluded us, extended flexibility with our check-in and check-out times, easing the stresses of travel. The room, though simple in design, provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay, a must for a family on the go.Navigating the city was a breeze due to the hostel's proximity to the metro, making exploration with a little one hassle-free. The residential neighborhood exuded an authentic Spanish charm, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture effortlessly. Highly recommended for those who appreciate a blend of style and practicality.
